Located in a rural sub district called Kawali, about 21 km to the north of Ciamis City, this heritage has an attraction of inscribed megalithic stones showing a good proof of ancient Sundanese kingdom made in the reign of King Niskala Wastu Kencana.
One of them is found to have some Hinduism inscription saying “Mahayunan Ayunan Kadatuan”, which now is taken as the City’s motto.
